Ezekiel’s Temple: The Fourth Temple in Jerusalem, Israel
The Prophet Ezekiel received a vision from God concerning a Temple in Jerusalem, which has never been constructed. This Temple is described in Ezekiel chapters 40 to 48 and it retains a significant role to fulfil during the end times.
The Third Temple in Jerusalem, Israel, will be damaged during the Battle of Armageddon and a new Temple of the Lord will be built during the Millennial Reign of Christ, with the design given by God to Ezekiel. The Temple prophesied by Ezekiel has never been built because the Lord did not desire it to be established during the reign of man. God designed it for Christ during the Millennial Reign.
There will never be a blood sacrifice in the Fourth Temple because the Lamb of God has already made atonement for all sin. The sacrifice offered in the Fourth Temple of Jerusalem will represent the sacrifice of praise from the nations, who will enter the Temple to worship King Jesus of Israel and the nations on earth (Isaiah 2:3, 56:6-7, 60:13, Daniel 9:24, Haggai 2:7-9, Zechariah 6:12-15, 8:20-23).
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.
Many people shall come and say, ‘Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the House of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways and we shall walk in His paths.’
For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore
– Isaiah 2:1-4
Christ is the true ‘Branch’ identified by Zechariah and He will establish the Fourth Temple in Jerusalem. People will still be born during the Millennial Reign, under Adam. Thus, the Fourth Temple will be a reminder to all who are born under sin of their need to come to the One who can cleanse them (Zechariah 6:13).

Herod’s Temple was beloved by the disciples of Jesus, but they did not know the Temple revealed to Ezekiel has hidden qualities, which will only be understood when it is built. It will reveal its wonder when completed.
In this time of peace, Jerusalem shall be known as the Throne of the Lord and the City of Truth. God will draw all to Himself to submit to His golden rule, and God’s presence will enable mankind to resist the evils of the flesh and live peaceably. The Jews with their Messiah will be celebrated. No longer will they be called Israelis or any other name but the Holy People (Jeremiah 3:17, Isaiah 62:12, Zechariah 8:3).
With all wars, famines and poverty abolished, people will enjoy an abundance of surplus wealth during Christ’s one thousand year reign:
Behold, the days are coming says the Lord, when the ploughman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed. The mountains shall drip with sweet wine and all the hills shall flow with it
– Amos 9:13
