Christians will be Raptured before the Tribulation
After watching Christian TV, an elderly couple confessed with fear, “We don’t think we’ll have the strength to live through the Tribulation.” The preacher convinced them they’re going to suffer in the plagues, disasters and crises prophesied in the Book of Revelation. But was the preacher right?
And to wait for His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come
– 1 Thessalonians 1:10
The Bible presents a principle reconfirmed throughout Scripture. His people will be saved from God’s judgment because they are under the Lord’s protection! God saved Noah from the flood, Lot was saved from Sodom and the Hebrew slaves from the plagues in Egypt; we also will be delivered from the judgments in the last days. God established this truth with Noah and Lot, and He reconfirmed it with His people in Egypt.
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ
– 1 Thessalonians 5:9
We are not in the company of the lost, but the saved! Christ is our hope in the day of doom (Jeremiah 17:17). The Church is not waiting for God’s judgment, but His redemption. In the blink of an eye, Christ’s followers will be transported to Heaven (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). We are expecting to see God’s Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
Having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him

Do not be afraid. We will be delivered from God’s wrath because we have already been delivered in Christ. The Scriptures are clarion: God will set a seal on those who love and obey Him. The Prophet Ezekiel heard the Lord say this to His angel:
Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a Mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it
– Ezekiel 9:4
When speaking about the end times, Jesus Christ warned we must be righteous and prepared. It’s time to get right with God! If we don’t have the oil of the Holy Spirit burning in the lamp of our hearts, we could be lost (Matthew 25:1-13). The promise of the Rapture is not a commission to be lazy in our faith, but to strengthen our relationship with Christ: ‘And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed’ (Romans 13:11).
Watch therefore and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man
– Luke 21:36
After all believers have been judged by God and rewarded for their faithfulness, believers will celebrate with Jesus Christ and His angels in Heaven, at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Blessed are those who are called to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God
– Revelation 19:9
