Six End Time Signs for Israel

 

There are six great end time signs concerning Israel that represent the harbinger of the end times:

1. The restoration of the non-believing Jews to the land of Israel (Jeremiah 31:7-14, Ezekiel 36:16-38, Acts 1:6-7).
2. Jerusalem being restored as the capital of a sovereign Israel (Zechariah 14:4, Luke 21:23-24).   
3. The deserts of Israel blooming and the country exporting fruit to the nations. Isaiah said, ‘Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit’ (Isaiah 27:6).
4. Birthing of a small remnant of Jews in Israel who acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah (Isaiah 10:20, Romans 11:5).
5. This remnant who believe in Jesus as their Messiah will grow in Israel and be blessed: ‘For the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase and the Heavens shall give their dew – I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these’ (Zechariah 8:12).
6. The greatest of these signs: the restoration of the Jews who survive the Tribulation because they will recognise Jesus as their Messiah-King. He does not belong to the Church first, but to the Jews (Matthew 15:24, Romans 1:16).

The first sign is being completed, the second and third have come to fruition, the fourth and fifth are being fulfilled and the sixth will take place soon: ‘For Israel shall be saved by the Lord, with an everlasting salvation. They shall not be ashamed or disgraced forever and ever’ (Isaiah 45:17).

The Lord God said, ‘For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries and bring you into your land…I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you. And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations…not for your sake do I do this’ (Ezekiel 36:24-32).

On 15 May 1948, God fulfilled His promise to return the Jewish people to the land of Israel, as an independent country. A nation was born in a day! When the Lord called His people to the home of promise, the truth which Jesus kept from the disciples was revealed (Isaiah 66:8-9, Jeremiah 23:7-8, Acts 1:6-7).

In June 1967, another prophecy of Jesus concerning the end time State of Israel was fulfilled: ‘And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.’ The experts declared it would be impossible for Israel to re-take Jerusalem and keep it from Jordan, yet they fulfilled the prophecy with God’s strength (Luke 21:24).
