The Second Coming of Jesus
The Bible describes two specific events concerning the return of Jesus Christ to earth. Beforehand, there’s an event which will happen in the twinkling of an eye. Jesus will Rapture believers and meet the Church in the clouds. By doing this, God will spare committed Christians from suffering during the Tribulation period. At this moment, Jesus will transform His living followers into a supernatural state and raise the dead in Christ, and later they will celebrate the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven. Then, when the Tribulation is coming to an end, Jesus will return to earth to defeat the Antichrist with His saints and angels, and every eye will see Him as He returns to reign from Jerusalem.
The Ascension and Return of Jesus
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward Heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into Heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into Heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into Heaven”

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near”

Jesus on His Coming to Win the Battle of Armageddon
Behold, He is coming with clouds and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty”

Jesus on the Millennial Reign
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left”
