Declaration

Gracious Father, in Your Word You command us to renew our minds and dwell on Your promises richly. Therefore, Lord Jesus, assist me to always think according to Your Spirit, to speak the truth in righteousness and to know when to remain silent.

Father, guide my thoughts and the words of my mouth to align with Your living Word, transcribed in Holy Scripture.

I pray for a wholesome tongue, which the Bible calls a ‘tree of life’ and I renounce all the lies I have spoken over myself.

Father, let my mouth be a well of spiritual truth, speaking forth life, righteousness and declaring justice to the world.

Lord, I pray Your Holy Spirit will escort me to articulate words of choice silver, bringing forth Your wisdom in all truth and holiness, and that You will guide me to hold my tongue and crucify the flesh, according to the Spirit’s leading.

Holy Spirit, guide the confessions of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart. Cleanse my mind and enable me to think anew on the goodness and mercy of God, Amen.
