Declaration
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare today I choose life and life in all its fullness. I proclaim I have a future, and I will serve the Lord with all my heart, soul and strength.
I reject the spirits of self-loathing, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and death in Jesus’ name. The desire for death has no hold on me, and I renounce self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
Lord Jesus, I ask You to forgive me for flirting with thoughts of my demise and longing for life to end. Right now, I break any agreement I made with death, when I said, “I hate my life,” and, “I wish I was dead,” or when I flirted with sentiments of self-harm or suicide. I renounce the devil, his thoughts and plans.
The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy, but Jesus came to give me abundant life; therefore, I expel the spirits of self-harm, suicide and all related spirits in Jesus’ name, Amen.
