Honesty and Hope from God for Backsliders: The Cost of Backsliding
God loves you; this is the reason He is honest. He tells you about your problem, for you to enter into His peace and joy. Let’s be honest, backsliders are the most miserable, unhappy people in the world. They neither enjoy God nor the world. They have too much Christianity to enjoy the world and too much of the world to enjoy God.
The Lord wants you free of this burden! Do not sit on the fence; God can forgive and restore you. There is hope. Christ loves you and calls you to restoration. He can save you and give you a life worth living again. Set yourself free and repent. Let God fill you with His love again. Get on your face before God now and be restored to hope. Don’t be a slave to the world, be a prisoner of hope!
The following are two Scriptures for you to ponder. Which one do you want to be?
Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you!
