There’s Nothing Wrong with You: The Power to Think Better

There is nothing wrong with you. God created you in His image. There is no one like you on earth; not one with the same thoughts, ideas, feelings, experience, creativity and purpose. God chose you before the earth existed for a specific plan only you can accomplish. You are His workmanship.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made

– Psalm 139:14

There may be something wrong with your thinking and choices, called sin, but you are more than your thoughts. God loves you, as you. However, there is a battle going on in your mind. Satan is bombarding you with thoughts designed to limit, hinder and hurt you. If he can get you to disagree with all God has said about you in Scripture, by the Holy Spirit, he can set you back.

As he thinks in his heart, so is he

– Proverbs 23:7

The Bible states as we think in our heart, so we become. When we allow negative unbelieving thoughts to take over our thinking, it drags us down and robs us of our God-given dignity.

God is reaching out to you. He’s telling you that your mind is under attack. He’s welcoming you to the war. He will not sit back and allow Satan to kill your God-given dreams, steal your hope and destroy your life. You may have said, “I’ll never,” and added a lengthy list of statements grown in unbelief. In Christ you can.

You can achieve God’s destiny through obedience. You can get all you need to fulfil God’s purpose in life. You can overcome addiction and sinful habits which hurt you. When God is for you, who can be against you?

Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

– 2 Corinthians 10:5

Your life will go where your thoughts take you. If you think better, you will feel better and achieve God’s will through obedience. Satan sends wave upon wave of nagging thoughts of unbelief, fear and shuddering doubts. He wants you to take your mind from God’s Word and focus on his attack. He wants you to believe his thoughts are your thoughts. When we recognise this satanic attack, we can take back control.

The thief does not come except to steal and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly

– Jesus Christ, John 10:10

“I am in a battle,” you can say to yourself. “This is an enemy attack. I reject these thoughts, I believe God’s Word. I am the head and not the tail. I am blessed. I am a child of God.”
