For years, our minds have been operating automatically, spreading lies that support Satan’s schemes to harm, rob and destroy us. In order to speak victory through God’s Word, we must deliberately relearn how to think, confess the good confession of faith and retrain our minds.

Stress can feel unmanageable and overwhelming at times. But God has provided us with the means to achieve freedom, calm and peace in His Holy Word. The declaration and biblical confession below will help you to find perfect peace, as you continue to press in for victory.

I reject the spirits of self-loathing, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and death in Jesus’ name. The desire for death has no hold on me, and I renounce self-harm and suicidal thoughts.

Sometimes we can feel hopeless and believe nothing will ever improve. But that is a lie from Satan sent to keep us bound. We must reject these feelings and embrace the power of God.

Satan will use lies to make you feel inferior and insecure in order to keep you down. You can end this cycle and find peace, in your rightful place as a child of God, by declaring the Word of God. Start with this prayer.
