Scriptural Inspiration for Evangelism and World Missions

Do you have a passion to obey Jesus and help complete the Great Commission? Do you want to reach the world with the gospel? Follow this sage advice from the Bible.

1. Obey God and witness for Him!

‘Go and make disciples of all nations’ (Matthew 28:19).

2. Depend on God to be fruitful.

Jesus said, ‘Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me’ (John 15:4).

3. Get Enthusiastic

‘Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, for you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain’ (1 Corinthians 15:58).

4. Make It Clear

‘Setting forth the truth plainly’ (2 Corinthians 4:2).

5. Get to the Point

‘The more the words, the less the meaning and how does that profit anyone’ (Ecclesiastes 6:11).

6. Share Jesus with a Loving Heart

‘Clothe yourselves with compassion’ (Colossians 3:12).

7. Be Ready to Share Christ

‘Always be prepared to give an answer so that everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have’ (1 Peter 3:15).

8. Feel the Urgency

‘As long as it is day, we must do the work of Him who sent me, night is coming when no-one can work’ (John 9:4).

9. Don’t Give Up

‘Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up’ (Galatians 6:9).

10. Expect Something To Happen

‘Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again’ (Ecclesiastes 11:1).
